No On Measure S

Colleen worked with Design East of LaBrea and LA Plus on lawn signs and an exhibition of artist-submitted posters opposing the anti-development Measure S on the City of Los Angeles’ November 2016 ballot. The language of the ballot measure was confusing but would have stopped most new apartment building development, including affordable housing, during a time when LA faces a growing homeless crisis and a severe housing shortage. Our poster campaign and exhibition helped to clarify the issues around Measure S and why it would be bad for LA.
